Tab Organizer — Terms of Use

Effective date: 26 October 2026 Provider: Artur Mukhamatkhaev, an individual trading as From Artur, Rua das Amoras 174, 2775-549 Cascais, Portugal; Portuguese tax identification number 315491051. From Artur is a trading name, not an incorporated company. Contact: artur@fromartur.com Applicable law and venue: Portuguese law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer protection in the consumer's country of residence. Court jurisdiction follows applicable mandatory law.

1. Acceptance and scope

These terms govern use of the Tab Organizer Chrome extension and any Pro entitlement supplied by the provider identified above. The provider must present them and obtain acceptance in a manner legally effective for the relevant user and transaction; installation alone is not treated as acceptance where applicable law requires an affirmative action. If you do not accept, do not use the extension or purchase Pro. The Privacy Notice explains data processing and forms a separate document.

2. What the product does

The extension groups eligible browser tabs into native Chrome tab groups using locally processed hostnames and user-configured rules. Automation is optional and can be paused or disabled. The extension may skip certain tabs or groups for compatibility and safety. It is not a backup service and does not promise to preserve browser sessions or undo every browser operation. You remain responsible for reviewing rule matches and browser state.

The available functions depend on the installed build and license. Free and Pro features, current compatibility requirements, and any restrictions must be described in the applicable store listing and in-product offer before you purchase. No price or active offer is promised by these general terms.

3. License and permitted use

Subject to these terms and the applicable offer, the provider grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the extension for its intended purpose on supported Chrome profiles. The license does not transfer ownership of the extension or its source code. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, sublicense, resell, bypass licensing, interfere with the service, or use the extension unlawfully, except where applicable law does not permit such restrictions.

For a paid entitlement, the offer-specific terms control its price, duration, included Pro features, permitted installations/device limit, fulfillment, and any additional restrictions. A permanent entitlement means the purchased feature grant has no scheduled expiry, if that is what the offer says; it does not promise perpetual operation of every future version, third-party platform, or online service. The signed receipt may need to refresh periodically. The current client permits up to seven days of offline receipt validity. This technical validation interval does not convert a permanent entitlement into a seven-day purchase.

4. Keys, devices, and license state

Keep purchase keys and signed license files confidential. A key may be bound to the installation/device limit stated in the offer. Activation and refresh require an internet connection to the configured license service. If validation is unavailable, a valid cached receipt remains usable only until its offline validity expires. The provider may suspend or revoke access where the purchase is invalid, reversed, refunded, or the license is used in breach of the offer, subject to mandatory law and the applicable refund/consumer rules.

Use the in-product deactivation flow before transferring a license when possible. Removing license data locally does not release a server-side device binding. Contact artur@fromartur.com to request a release if the device is lost or the deactivation flow cannot be used.

5. Updates and third-party platform

The extension runs within Chrome and relies on Chrome APIs and the Chrome Web Store, each governed by its own terms and availability. The provider does not control those services. The provider may issue updates to maintain security, compatibility, and features. The terms do not authorize the provider to remove rights that cannot legally be removed or to make a paid product materially non-conforming without the remedy required by law.

6. User settings and backups

Rules and preferences are stored locally in your Chrome profile. You are responsible for exporting any settings you want to retain. Recovery backups and exports may contain hostnames or rule patterns; protect downloaded files and delete them when no longer needed. Uninstalling Chrome or the extension may remove local data. These terms do not promise cloud synchronization or recovery of local state.

7. Support and service changes

Support is available through artur@fromartur.com. No guaranteed response time is stated. The provider may change or discontinue a feature for security, legal, platform, or technical reasons. For a paid feature, any change or discontinuation remains subject to the offer and mandatory consumer rights, including applicable conformity remedies.

8. Consumer rights and warranties

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a consumer's mandatory statutory rights, including applicable rights relating to conformity, digital content/services, withdrawal, refunds, or remedies for the provider's breach. Any exclusion, limitation, or disclaimer is effective only to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your country of residence may apply notwithstanding a governing-law clause.

The extension is provided subject to mandatory legal guarantees. Any additional warranty, trial, support commitment, or service level must be stated in the applicable offer; none is created by silence in these terms.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses that are not legally recoverable, or for failures caused by Chrome, your device, connectivity, or third-party services outside the provider's reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence where applicable, fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer remedies.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by disabling or uninstalling it. The provider may suspend a license where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risks, legal requirements, or material breach, after any notice and opportunity to remedy required by law. Termination does not cancel rights or remedies already accrued. Any purchased-entitlement consequences, including refunds, must follow the offer-specific terms and mandatory law.

11. Changes to these terms

The provider may revise these terms for legal, security, or product changes. The new version will show its effective date and be made available at https://tab-organizer.fromartur.com/terms/. If a change materially affects existing paid rights, the provider will provide notice and obtain consent where legally required. Continued use alone will not be treated as consent where law requires affirmative agreement.
